So much fun . I couldnt get the smile off my face. This is the coolest way to take a tour around the city. These cars are pretty quick and easy to handle. It gives you driving directions and a city tour via GPS. The staff made it quick and easy to get going.

We did the GoCar 2 hour tour in San Diego end of May. It was fun and a great way to see some of the things the city has to offer. Some of the things we saw captured our attention for us to go check out after the GoCar tour.
Highly recommend this. The staff was very nice. We took a small to medium size bottle of water and It came in handy.

The ladies at Go Car Tour are superstars! Their energy, attitude and enthusiasm are so much fun. We drove the Vanderhall and had a blast. San Diego is beautiful. We were booked for a 2 hr tour and somehow got turned around, missed our turn and returned back late. Layla was understanding and very helpful in getting us back on track and back to the rental site. My son and I do the GoCar Tours in San Diego pretty often. So great to see our city this way and the driving the cars is really fun. Cassandra and John in Old Town are the best! They are so helpful a I love talking with them. They make it an easy experience and I always look forward to seeing them.

We had a BLAST in this car! We did the Coronado tour and had so much fun that when we returned to the business to return the car we discussed their other tours and decided to go back out and do the downtown tour too. Seriously, it was our favorite activity. Thank you so much to the staff who were friendly and thoroughly explained the vehicle safety before we went out. The GPS tells you exactly where to go, highlights landmarks along the way, and cracks a few jokes too. We loved it!

If you want a long or a short tour of the different areas of San Diego, look here. Great staff, helpful service, safety as a priority! Make sure to listen to the staff - they will help you if you're lost! I only did a short tour, but I wouldn't mind a longer one.

This is our second time on this experience. We love doing it. You get to see so much of San Diego that you normally wouldn't. There are a few different routes which makes it great. The cars with the GPS map on board is great. Prices are reasonable. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend to everyone. Such a great experience!

It was fun riding GPS guided go car. It is so small that you have to adjust but driving was very fun. It reminded me of Auto Rikshaw in India. It makes too much noise that, everyone one the road gives attention to us when driving. We were able to cover two hour path including some stops to take pics. Can see both old and new town of San Diego in one shot.

If you're looking for a fun 2-3 hours to spend in the sun, this is definitely worth checking out! My friends from out of town came in and we rented two of the electric vehicles, absolutely worth the upgrade. Such an awesome experience and a great way to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time. The GPS tour is wonderful, full of interesting information and easy to navigate if you get off of track. The vehicles are super clean, in great condition and fun to drive. 10/10 worth doing. Also, Merlin is wonderful, he will take great care of you, so ask for him if you go!

My wife and I experienced the GoCar rides for San Diego and it was amazing. Our first time in San Diego this was definitely an experience for the books. The ride was easy and there was a recorded tour and pinpoints for more info about SD. The staff was nice and professional. They were very patient and just chill people that helped us feel more comfortable about being in a new place. If you are visiting SD and even if you are local this place and experience is going to be so much fun for you and your friends or significant other. Try it you won't regret it!

The craziest and most fun way to give a tour! Easy to drive, gives the option to learn or to just drive around. I wish it would give options if the roads end up closed, but otherwise a cool experience.

This is a wonderful way to see the sites of San Diego the cars are clean and safe. The planned route is fabulous you will see the historic areas and museums. The tour of the Marina and the Naval ships is exciting. The electric go car is so fun and you have the independence to enjoy yourself.

Did this tour on vacation. Had a really good time. At the end we got lost but thanks to them we were able to get back on track quickly. Highly recommend if you are traveling to San Diego and want to learn more about the historic landmarks of this beautiful area.

We rented the Vanderhall and took the tour of Sunset Cliffs. It was beautiful and so much fun! Would definitely recommend if you like driving a fancy car with the breeze in your hair. The staff was really helpful and professional. The GPS system was the best I've ever experienced, I want it for my own car! Thanks again!

This was SO much fun, I highly recommend it. We live here in San Diego but hadn't gotten a chance to really see the city. We rented the moped scooters and drove around for 2 hours. The tour is guided and gives you historical facts about each major location you pass. I think the scooter is a way cooler way to see the city and 2 hours was way too short. I think you should book the scooter for the entire day and ride it around, stop, have lunch, grab paleta, go on a longer tour route. It's totally worth it so you're not rushed to return it on time and really get to take in the city. We will definitely be doing this again when our family visits. Thanks to the awesome staff too!

Get the Vanderhall Roadster. It is worth the upgrade. A lot more room and extremely stylish. You don't look like a tourist. You look like you are a local and cool. Great staff and communicated with me that there was a delay on my car. A must do as you find things that you normally wouldn't without a lot of research or stopping and getting out, reading stuff.

First time going to California and wanted to see the area and found a GoCar Tours video on YouTube and had to book the Blackjack car! My boyfriend and I loved driving through the mountains and seeing all the scenery was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend and book again for future visits!

We did the one hour city tour on the GoCars. It was a lot of fun and I think I would do it again. The only thing I didn't enjoy is that we didn't make any stops, went through the tour as quickly as possible and we still made it back late. We didn't even enjoy the last 20 minutes of the tour in fear of paying a hefty late fee. When we got back, she said we were fine and that they have a grace period. I think it would be nice to tell the customers that before because then we could have enjoyed the ride back instead of being stressed out. The tour they give you to do is extremely hard to complete in one hour. Especially if you hit all the red lights!

The go car ride was really fun and definitely recommend doing it if you’re visiting SD. We were looking forward to it and had a day planned with other activities, however even though we made our reservation two days in advance, we had to wait for an hour!! because they didn’t have any cars available. Definitely something they need to get control of. I understand people can walk in and rent them same day but people with reservations shouldn’t have to waste an hour waiting for others to return their cars.

I prepaid for my reservation, when I showed up late they had already given away my rental. Being that I prepaid for the rental I would have expected there to be a car available even if I was late. They then deducted the time that it took to get a new rental off my time.

First time going. The girl at the front was super energetic and sweet. The actual gocart is user friendly and fun to operate, not to mention pretty fast. My only issue is the GPS screen is mounted under the dash on the passenger footwell. I took my eyes off the road several times to look down at the screen and make sure I stayed on course. However, the audio volume is adjustible and quite helpful. Nonetheless, it was a blast. Highly recommend!

A decently good time. The navigation system isn’t very good and one of the speakers in the vehicle wasn’t working so with the loudness of the vehicle, the road, and the wind it was impossible to hear. Because it was so difficult to hear it was difficult to follow the navigation therefore we got off of the guided tour various times. Once you get off track the navigation offers zero help you get you back on track. It just stops talking and does not redirect you. It could have been a very cool and fun experience but unfortunately it was subpar.

Great way to see the San Diego if you’re new here and want to know the good spots to visit later on! Brought my husband for his birthday and he enjoyed it very much. I suggest bringing a sweater we were popsicles at the end. Overall great prices and very fun! Would do it again!!

The two of us rented one of the Gocars and went on the hour tour. The woman who checked us in seemed in a rush and told us to hurry back before it got dark. We started our tour and everything seemed great until we noticed that our tour seemed to go on and on. It started to get dark and we started to get worried for our safety due to not having any headlights. At about 5:15 we called in because our tour map was still going. The guy said we took the wrong turn and followed the wrong color line. We never were told what to follow except just to follow the map. We told him we worried about our safety driving back due to not having lights. That is when the man mentioned to us that there were headlights. No one ever told us this nor was this ever mentioned in the training video!!!! When we got back, we explained exactly what we did and how we were late. He accused us of taking the wrong turn and acting as if we did this on purpose (although we had picture of the map and when we called in). He ignored the fact that we mentioned several times and had even called prior to arriving about our safety. He said that because we were late that we were going to get charged for the extra time. He saw that we were getting upset and said have a goodnight rushing us out. We asked who was the manager and he finally said he was. It wasn’t until then that he said he wouldn’t charge us for the extra time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this FACILITY. THE STAFF DO NOT care for your safety. The manager is rude and not professional at all.

A word of warning, the routes seem impossible to do in the allotted time and it is a dollar a minute if you go over. We were fortunate in that we know San Diego and did the half hour route, it still took an hour to do it which is what we were allotted time wise.
It was super fun and we had lots of people smile, wave, and give the thumbs up!!!

What better way to tour sections of the city than to get your own Go-cart. We upgraded to the fully electric car. It was amazing. The navigation was great and the automated tour guide was informative. We really enjoyed ourselves and the scenic views.

Just finished our tour ! Brought my mom for her birthday and my sister(: We aren’t originally from San Diego but always visit the area and always find ourselves at the same spots. So I thought it would be cool to explore San Diego in a different Way and this was the perfect way to do it! We had never done anything like this and it was so much fun ! This is a great place to go to have a small tour of the city. The hour tour takes you to Little Italy where you’ll find all the happening food and drink places. You can park the GoCar and grab a bite to eat and the tablet will guide you back to the route. People in vehicles respects the little GoCar so you’ll feel safe while in it. Honk and wave at folks while you drive by to make your time even more fun.

Been stationed in San Diego for 17 years and didn't even know this business was here!! We decided to try it on a whim and it was an amazing experience for us all. The cars/motorbikes were fun to drive and the public was in awe, waving and beeping at us as we followed our tour. Was a great way to get out there through this Covid situation. I’ve lived in San Diego for four years and never really had the chance to explore. These little carts were able to help with that! GPS and storytelling guidance was perfect and helpful. Found a few new spots I didn’t know existed! Worth every penny! Would highly recommend. Super friendly staff as well, had a little malfunction with on of the carts half way through the tour and they responded within seconds and had us in a replacement shortly after.

We had a blast getting around and seeing everything. We made it all the way down to the tide pools which was super fun too!

Wow.. soo much fun. Were from Dallas and we spent most of the week in San Diego so I got the 1 hr tour, wow was that a mistake. If you do this.. you have to do the 2 or 4 hr tour. The guided GPS is amazing.. so much history and knowledge, and that lil machine is hilarious.

Hard to find things to do that are safe during COVID-19. This definitely was a great choice. We rented the electric scooters. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone was wearing masks. They sanitized all of the scooters before we went out. And we had a great time riding around the city, seeing the sights, and enjoying the fresh air, all while maintaining our distance from the crowds. We would definitely do that again - Highly recommend.

LOVEEEE the 2hr tour! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it , we had a mini speaker & really liked the tour all over San Diego , we got to see a lot and got idea of places we’d like to go back to ! Make sure to keep an eye on your map & listen to the directions. Definitely doing this again.

We did this in San Francisco a couple of years ago and it was way fun.. The San Francisco seemed to be more fun than the San Diego tour.. Had 3 carts in our party, one of the GPS audio tours did not work.. The carts ran mediocre.. The electric bikes look like more fun..
