Oceanside Sunset Market has been a bright spot in downtown Oceanside since August 2007 thanks to MainStreet Oceanside. This weekly gathering is so much more than a Farmers Market. Thousands of residents and visitors alike gather each week to enjoy a large variety of hot food offerings, the eclectic merchandise selections, the gourmet packaged food selection and the live entertainment. This family-friendly event also features Dorothy’s KidZone with children’s activities.

Thursday is sunset market day.Loved all the food options, anything you are craving they probably have it.There is also a ton of vendors, that have beautiful merchandise.Was able to get some delicious grub and items for our house.Wish I would of taken pictures, of the stuff I got.

Always love visiting when in town. Polish sausage was cooked up especially crisp for me by the both owner. Loved the visit!!

I had heard of this market from a bartender at a bar and grill that I found on Yelp. He talked about the market. If I would have known how great it was I wouldn't have gone to the bar! I was able to have fun and had a great desert in some awesome ice cream!

So much fun! Can't believe Oside pulls this off every Thursday! 4 city blocks of vendors! If your a foodie it's a must! You could literally eat food from around the world!

Very fun street market. Everyone so friendly except the old lady that sells different flavors of cheesecake in little cups. We have purchased them in the past at $25 for 6 little cups so my husband automatically pulled out $25. I told him it's $29 so he was a little confused and said oh okay the price went up as he pulled out more money. Not complaining about it, he just didn't know and she flipped out on us and refused to help us saying how dare we question her prices etc. We were so taken back by her crazy behavior. We walked away as quick as possible as she screamed and yelled at us "how dare you question my prices" she scared my granddaughter and it was so not necessary. She should be ashamed and embarrassed by her behavior. Other than that we have always had a wonderful fun time there and will continue to enjoy our Thursday evenings supporting local businesses. But we will be sure to avoid the crazy old cheesecake lady!! 😆 🤣

My favorite market in Oceanside. Tons of vendors selling art, jewelry, clothing but it really is more about food . There is always something new and interesting to try . Different flavors of the authentic cuisine and they usually have music too At least they did before COVID but now that they reopened hope they are gonna have it again!! 💃💃

Very nice street market. When you have chance to travel in San Diego, you have to come here for street food and live music.Every Thursday and easy to find the parking.

good place to find your needsliquor stores ! bars have go cups !Weed delivered!great partying !medium amount of homeless, a dollar gets them to move on to …stick to main streets, alleys are restrooms.

Has a great variety of food to try, novelties, live music, and activities for the kids. Great way to spend your Thursday afternoon. I recommend bringing cash.

Being from out of town, I found this market a very nice surprise. You'll find so much variety in unusual arts and crafts, variety of teas and coffees, bohemian wardrobes, plants, food, Christmas knick knacks, essential oils and such. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

So many fantastic international foods to choose from, I was overwhelmed. Great smells and fun to look at. I had delicious fried catfish and hush puppies. Last time I had Okonomiyaki that was very good.

Fun place, great food stands, not a lot of quality market goods, however there are some great stands. I think I was one of four people with masks on and trying to distance whole having fun. Overall a positive experience.

We had an excellent time. There is city blocks worth of street vendors selling their wares was nice but it's really about the food. There's soul food, Jamaican BBQ, Hawaiian BBQ, American BBQ, fresh fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon wrapped hot dogs, sausages, homemade cheesecake, drinks and lots more!

I went to the farmers market which is on Thursday morning until 1pm and there were 3 block length of booths. The majority of the booths had interesting crafts, clothing and prepared foods. About 8 booths were from farms having a nice variety of vegetables and fruits. Bought a three pack of strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, a basket of large black figs and some tangerines. All were wonderfully delicious!

Too crowded.. great food and vendors but the crowd has out grown the space. They should use farmers market space used also for sunset to give crowds more space.

The food was very good every place we stopped and purchased. The layout for the vendors was great. There was live music which, for me, makes everything better. The 3 star rating is because there is no restroom, not even portable ones. Also, there was no place to sit or stand out of the way to eat your food. Perhaps they could extend the festival area to allow for s/eating.

I really enjoyed the variety of items. The food was amazing. We had the Mexican Avocado toast. Amazing. Great produce, prices and people. It will definitely be a weekly addition for us.

Because of COVID-19, today was the first day it open at normal hours n everyone was Happy to be back as you can see from the pix. But it was very crowded so if you don't like crowd, you should wait a little bit. Food were very good as usual. So go and check it out.

Great way to spend a few hours. The farm produce is fresh and local. Lots arts and craft booths. Quite a selection of food vendors to choose from.

Went to the Thursday farmers market...had some amazing and reasonably priced street food! Filled our bags with fresh produce that was so fresh and delicious! Got some fun keepsakes for the kiddos. Red beards hot sauce and more had the best, non pushy, tasty sales pitch ever...took some of that home too!

Not as big as it use to be..but overall a nice walk around. Good food and all local vendors.
