San Diego Urban Wineries is an alliance of thirteen urban wineries located throughout San Diego and North County… each buying grapes from the country and making unique wines in the city for your enjoyment. This is your chance to explore and experience your neighborhood urban wineries! Most urban wineries are within a short drive, easy walking distance, or on a public transportation route. Like the fantastic local craft beer industry, high-quality and artisanal wine is being made in commercial and industrial locations across San Diego County by skilled and dedicated craftspeople using the best ingredients they can find. The San Diego urban wine scene is booming! Get out and taste local, shop local, and support local! Get a San Diego Urban Wineries Passport good for one regular wine tasting at eleven (11!) different wineries located throughout San Diego and North County! Tastings and value vary by winery – generally 4-6 wines per tasting valued at $10-12. Yes! That means that your Passport pays for itself after just 3-4 tastings. Keep notes in your personal Passport journal and get stamped along the way as a souvenir on your San Diego wine tasting journey. Passports contain a map of all member wineries for convenient navigation.
