COMIC-CON

STAR OF INDIA FAMILY OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE

The museum is pleased to announce the highly popular Star of India Family Overnight Experience is back. Families can choose from two opportunities on July 26 and August 9, starting at 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following day. Families who participate will stay aboard the 1863 ship, Star of India, which is docked at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. They will embark on an imaginary voyage by signing up as the “crew” and working with knowledgeable Living History staff to gain an understanding of what life was like for sailors during the Golden Age of Sail. A SIP OF JULIAN

The 8th Annual ‘Sip of Julian’ event, co-hosted by the Julian Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. This event showcases the diverse alcoholic beverage offerings of Julian, including wine, craft beer, craft cocktails, and hard cider. It is a testament to the fact that Julian is not just known for its apples and delicious pies, but also for its talented wine growers and producers. The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., giving attendees ample time to sample hand-crafted specialties, paired with small bites, at each location. Read more
