Fiesta De Reyes
Old Town San Diego is often referred to as the “birthplace of San Diego”. Today, Fiesta De Reyes continues to celebrate this rich culture and history. You’ll find shops and restaurants inspired by 19thcentury pueblo life, an ongoing fiesta of live entertainment, and myriad opportunities for visitors and locals alike. Come taste the essence of life in San Diego during its infancy from 1821 to 1872.
THE COSMOPOLITAN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT
There is no other building in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park that more clearly symbolizes the transition of San Diego from a Mexican pueblo into an American city. The lower floor of The Cosmopolitan was built of adobe by Juan Bandini, a wealthy Californio, in 1827 as a family home. The building has been meticulously restored to its original 1870’s glory. It is once again, home to a boutique hotel and a lively restaurant. Dine outdoors on the orchard patio or indoors in the Grand Sala!
DINING
Casa de Reyes Restaurant is in the very heart of Fiesta De Reyes. Enjoy the thriving garden of exotic succulents and tropicals. With fare tending toward traditional Mexican comfort food, they also have a flair that elevates each dish above the usual Mexican restaurant offerings.
Barra Barra Saloon’s menu is centered on Californio Mex fare with dishes from rich seafood, mouthwatering Mexican barbecues to Indian flatbread tacos. Kids eat free every day of the week with an adult! (10 years old and under)
SHOPPING
Fiesta De Reyes is home to 19 unique specialty shops. From hot sauces, silver jewelry, olive oil, as well as toys, unique garden items, and original artwork. All of the shops in Fiesta de Reyes are locally owned and independently operated.
ENTERTAINMENT
The stage in Fiesta De Reyes provides free daily live musical entertainment. Every weekend Old Town’s favorite mariachi bands and musical acts, as well as beautiful Folklorico dancers make for an unforgettable experience. Check website for the full schedule.

The food was delicious.
The environment was wonderful
The bartender made a really good mojito we got a bean and cheese burrito and the mar y terres.
The chips on the table were great too!
Fiesta de Reyes is an outdoor shopping plaza in Old Town San Diego. And it is marked as such on the Google page. Only 6 of the 23 reviews mistakes it for Casa de Reyes, which is a Mexican restaurant within Fiesta de Reyes. The confusion is understandable, I guess. But if you want a laugh, check out Fiesta de Reyes over on that other app! Close to 800 reviews for a restaurant that doesn't even exist!!! Bwahahahahaha!
As stated, Fiesta de Reyes is a quaint shopping plaza that includes an eclectic mélange of vibrant shops, as well as a couple Mexican restaurants. We frequent Geppettos, a toy store for my daughter; and I like the Root Beer shop next door.
We ask for just got water 2 cups just water and they charge 6.78 amazing I think.
It is the first time that I pay for hot water.
The service was ok and fast.
Just because they charge me for the water a give 2 starts.
Careful maybe next time they going to charge me for the air. 😁😂😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
The best thing about this place is their location,
It is situated in the old downtown of San Diego.
And that is like my fav place to be in San Diego.
The music and people dancing out there is sure to brighten up your mood and make you feel joyful.
The servers are pretty friendly and they do bring out your orders on time.
So if in San Diego and craving some Mexican food this is the place to be.
