MCAS MIRAMAR AIR SHOW
This weekend the MCAS Miramar air show returns after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The theme of this year’s air show is “Marines: Fight, Evolve, Win.” and is a direct reflection of the Commandant of the Marine Corps Force Design 2030 program and the technical innovations the service is undertaking. Guests can count
on seeing the Marine Corps’ F-35B demonstration, the unique Marine AirGround Task Force demonstration, the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor
Demonstration Team, Aaron Fitzgerald flying the Red Bull Helicopter, a 5G Technology Expo and much more. The air show is free to the public and upgraded seating options are now on sale. Read more.
SAN DIEGO RESTAURANT WEEK
This Sunday, September 25th, starts the 20th Annual San Diego Restaurant Week. Over 100 participating restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe dinner menus starting at just $20 for casual dining all the way to exquisite 5-star meals. Tickets are not necessary for this delectable week of discounted dining, but reservations are recommended! 3RD ANNUAL ARTWALK CARLSBAD
This Saturday and Sunday, the 24th and 25th, Artwalk Carlsbad returns to Carlsbad. This FREE event will feature over 150 artists from the US and Mexico, displaying paintings, sculptures, glasswork, fine jewelry, photography, and more. The event will be held right above the Flower Fields off of Palmar Airport Road on Armada Drive. There will be a KidsWalk, musical performers, food trucks, and beer and wine. Read more
ENCINITAS OKTOBERFEST
The 26th Annual Encinitas Oktoberfest will be held this Sunday, the 25th, on Mountain Vista Drive in Encinitas. Join us in celebrating the longstanding tradition of our German roots. There will be an authentic German beer garden along with entertainment including Bavarian music and dance troupes, German refreshments as well as an international food court. There will also be carnival rides and a local craft beer garden. The festival runs from 10 AM to 6 PM. Read more…
ADAMS AVENUE STREET FAIR
This weekend marks the 40th Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair featuring 65 musical acts on six stages. The party begins on Saturday from 10 AM to 10 Pm and Sunday from 10 AM to 6PM. Beer connoisseurs will enjoy the Street Fair’s Craft Beer Taste (from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday only), across from the Starbucks Stage. Visitors to the craft beer taste will have the opportunity to sample 2oz. tastes from 20 breweries for only $25.
