This weekend join the fun at the City of San Diego’s free holiday festival, Balboa Park December Nights! Join us in Balboa Park for December Nights 2023 on Friday, Dec. 1, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., to celebrate the spirit of the holiday and enjoy our amazing Family Zone with free photos with Santa, lights displays, musical performances, attractions, delicious food, and more! WINTER WONDERLAND FESTIVAL
Join us this weekend for winter magic at the Annual Winter Wonderland! The Winter Wonderland Festival will bring
the North Pole to the heart of Escondido for this special holiday event. This year, they’ve extended the festivities for the entire weekend, ensuring there’s plenty of time to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. Let your kids frolic in real snow, build snowmen, and have snowball fights.

HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS AT THE OLD GLOBE
Now playing at the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park is the ever-popular Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The production will run from November 8 to December 31, 2022. Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot . . . but the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT! In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. OB HOLIDAY PARADE
For over 40 years, the quaint little surfing village of Ocean Beach has hosted one of the best Holiday Parades in San Diego. On Saturday, December 2nd, Newport Avenue will be lined with colorful OBceans and visitors all eagerly awaiting the commencement of the 44th Annual OB Holiday Parade at Sunset! This year’s 2023 Parade theme is “Santa’s Disco Luau”. Decorate an Ornament for the OB Holiday Tree! A very limited supply of wooden ornaments are available this year so don’t miss out! Read More
HOLIDAY IN THE VILLAGE
This Saturday, December 2nd from Noon til 9 PM is the Holiday in the Village. The La Mesa Holiday in the Village is a FREE event featuring live music, cozy fires, craft vendors, food, holiday photo opportunities including selfies with Santa, and a kids’ area bigger than Santa’s Toy Shop! Visitors can walk the streets of La Mesa’s historic downtown while exploring dozens of local craft vendor stands, then cozy up with artisan and craft food and snack specialties. Friends and family can relax by the fire pits while enjoying holiday caroling, with cheerful holiday music and more! More.
