ENCINITAS HOLIDAY STREET FAIR
This Saturday, November 19th from 9 AM to 5 PM is the Encinitas Holiday Street Fair. Enjoy over 450 unique food, arts and crafts vendors plus four entertainment stages, children’s rides, Bike Valets, the kid/dog-friendly beer garden! Enjoy craft beers, enjoy some quality food, and soak up some winter sun while listening to the best bands in San Diego rock out at the Beer Garden Stage (12 pm-5 pm.) there is NO PARKING on Hwy 101 from D to J Street on Saturday and Sunday from 4 am – 6 pm. SUSAN G KOMEN 3-DAY JOURNEY
The Susan G. Komen 3‑Day begins this Friday, November 17th, and ends on Sunday, November 19th. The 3-Day transforms into a 60-mile moving monument dedicated to the power of ending breast cancer forever. With every step, we pay tribute. HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS AT THE OLD GLOBE
Now playing at the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park is the ever-popular Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The production will run from November 8 to December 31, 2022. Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot . . . but the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT! In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. The Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. Read More…
STRAVINSKY’S RITE OF SPRING AT RADY SHELL
This Friday experience an evening featuring Stravinky’s whirling The Rite of Spring which still astounds audiences more than a century after its riotous Parisian debut in 1913. In his handwritten version of the story, Stravinsky described The Rite as “a musical choreographic work. It represents pagan Russia and is unified by a single idea: the mystery and the great surge of the creative power of spring….” More.
SEAWORLD CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Join SeaWorld at their Christmas Celebration which starts this Friday, November 17th, and runs until January 7th, 2024. This year’s celebration will have Christmas shows, a Christmas parade, and believe it or not, snow! You’ll find acres of beautiful decorations along with a towering 30-foot Christmas tree and a music-activated tunnel of lights. Of course, Santa will be there along with his lead reindeer Rudolf.
