For over a century, the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery Support Foundation has been composed of various veterans organizations, their auxiliaries, and patriotic groups. BEETHOVEN’S FOURTH PIANO CONCERTO AND STRAVINKY’S FIREBIRD AT RADY SHELL
On Saturday, May 25th, starting at 6:30 PM at the Rady Shell in Jacob’s Park, conductor Rafael Payare and the San Diego Symphony will present a performance of Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. The evening will showcase Jeremy Denk, one of the most esteemed pianists in America, hailed by the New York Times as “a pianist worth listening to regardless of the repertoire.” This event marks the culmination of their 2023-24 season, with a concert that includes Stravinsky’s entire ballet score for The Firebird.
