Let the Del Mar Fairgrounds Make your holidays bright with Coastal Christmas! This Holiday Light Spectacular runs from December 14th – December 30th opening at 4 PM and closes at 9 PM at the Paddock on the fairgrounds.
ICE SKATING IN SAN DIEGO
This has been one of our favorite places to skate for years! Take a spin around Hotel del Coronado’s famous beachfront ice rink featuring stunning views of the Pacific and benefitting Make-A-Wish® San Diego. Enhance your experience by reserving a rink-side or ocean-side Frostbite Lounge with plush seating, roaring fire pits, holiday-themed libations, and delectable bites. HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS AT THE OLD GLOBE
Now playing at the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park is the ever-popular Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The production will run from November 8 to December 31, 2022. Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot . . . but the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT! In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. THE NUTCRACKER – SAN DIEGO BALLET
This Saturday, December 16th, at the Magnolia Theater in El Cajon, the San Diego Ballet brings America’s favorite holiday event to dazzling life. The Nutcracker features Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and an international cast of more than 100 beautifully costumed dancers. Sugarplum fairies, leaping Cossacks, and flurries of snowflakes swirl across the stage, in this magical journey through a young girl’s imagination. Read More
