BIKE THE BAY
Join us for the 16th annual Ride the Bridge, Bike the Bay event on Sunday, August 25th! This non-competitive bike ride welcomes riders of all levels and will guide you on a picturesque and mostly flat route along the Bayshore Bikeway. You will pass through the neighboring cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, and National City before returning to the starting point at Embarcadero Marina Park. The annual Ramona Rodeo will be held this weekend Thursday, August 22nd, Friday, August 23rd, and Saturday, August 24th. Witness the collaboration of surfing icons and supporters of the Moores Cancer Center as they compete in a memorable contest near Scripps Pier, followed by a delicious tropical lunch at Scripps Seaside Forum. 18TH ANNUAL LEUCADIA ARTWALK
The 18th annual LeucadiART Walk, hosted by Leucadia 101 Mainstreet, will occur on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm. This popular community event will be held along North Coast Highway 101 and will not have any corporate vendors or imported goods. The event, showcasing fine arts, attracts approximately 8,000 attendees to Leucadia for the day to admire and purchase artwork. Along with live art demonstrations and performances by musicians and dancers, there will also be activities for children, a marketplace for local artists, a beer garden, and more.
