ENCINITAS SPRING STREET FAIR
The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association has been teaming with the City of Encinitas and local businesses since 1985 to organize the annual Encinitas Spring Street Fair. This two-day event occurs every year on the last weekend in April, running from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Encinitas Spring Street Fair is a lively celebration that welcomes the arrival of spring, transforming the historic Highway 101 into a vibrant hub of activities. ANNUAL LAKESIDE RODEO
The 60th Annual Lakeside Rodeo is this weekend Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 29th at Lakeside Rodeo Grounds and Arena in Lakeside. For a good dose of adrenaline, they’ve got steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bull riding all of which are sure to get your heart racing. The nonprofit organization ECSA hosts the Lakeside Rodeo and utilizes all the proceeds to benefit the youth of Lakeside. These funds are directed towards supporting education, youth arts, youth sports, youth community groups, and youth health. Since 1964, over $4 million has been donated to the youth of Lakeside. ADAMS AVENUE UNPLUGGED
On April 27, 2024, AABA will be hosting Adams Avenue Unplugged, a musical walkabout that is completely free of charge. This event will showcase more than 60 live music performances, which will take place inside restaurants, bars, and coffee shops along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue. Spanning from University Heights on the West, through Normal Heights, and into parts of Kensington on the East, this event will also feature outdoor performances at various patio locations like Smitty’s Food Court and Lestat’s Coffeehouse. ANNUAL MOTORCARS ON MAINSTREET CAR SHOW
Coronado MainStreet will be hosting its 35th annual car show, MotorCars on MainStreet, which will highlight restored antiques, classic, rod, and custom cars & trucks manufactured before 1975. This highly anticipated event will take place in downtown Coronado, just one block away from the beach, specifically at the intersection of Isabella & Orange Avenues. The grand gathering is co-sponsored by Cumming Chevrolet and the City of Coronado, who extend a warm welcome to both participants and spectators. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy live music and enter various drawings. With thousands of spectators expected to attend, admission is completely free of charge. Read More
LINDA VISTA MULTI-CULTURAL FAIR & PARADE
We are eagerly anticipating the 2024 edition of the Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair and Parade! The event, which takes place annually on the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road (between Comstock and Ulric Street), aims to foster cultural awareness and promote understanding within the City of San Diego. Residents and visitors alike can look forward to a wide array of cultural exhibits, diverse ethnic cuisine, and captivating artistic performances.
