TASTE OF CORONADO

On Wednesday, October 11th, The Coronado Junior Woman’s Club will host the 14th Annual A Taste Of Coronado. The event will feature tastings of food and drinks, showcasing Coronado’s most prominent and beloved restaurants, bars, and shops. This self-guided event will bring 800 guests from Coronado and beyond together for an evening of socialization, excellent food, and drink, to experience all that Coronado has to offer all while supporting our community and local businesses. ESCONDIDO GRAND AVENUE FESTIVAL

With the new layout design that places all the street vendor booths along the center of Grand Avenue, the storefronts of our vibrant downtown businesses will be easily seen and accessed by attendees. This Year, the Grand Ave Festival will take place in our historic downtown on Grand Ave from Escondido Blvd to Ivy. You’ll be able to shop from hundreds of vendors for unique hand-crafted gifts and imports and enjoy international cuisine and local entertainment. CARMEL VALLEY TRAIL 5K, 10K AND 15K

Welcome to San Diego’s only trail race through beautiful Gonzales Canyon Open Space. The 10th Annual event will once again start and finish at the Solana Ranch Park in Carmel Valley on the East end of Gonzales Canyon, lending itself to a flat start and finish with all the elevation gains in the middle. This year’s courses will once again feature the locally famous “Puke Hill” for the 15K AND 10K. That’s right… Someone needs to race up and down the damn thing. More…
HARVEST FESTIVAL

This weekend, October 13th, 14th and 15th, The Harvest Festival returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show promotes the largest indoor art & craft shows on the West Coast. Each Harvest Festival features hundreds of artisans exhibiting American handmade items including beautiful jewelry, clothing, specialty foods, photography, original art, hand-turned wood, bath & body, ceramics, glasswork, metal art, and much much More.
36TH ANNUAL XTERRA WETSUITS MISSION BAY TRIATHLON
Join us at the birthplace of the sport for the XTERRA Wetsuits Mission Bay Triathlon! This is the 35th annual XTERRA Wetsuits Mission Bay Triathlon benefitting Life Sports Foundation. San Diego is the Birthplace of Triathlon! In 1974, the first Mission Bay Triathlon was a run-bike-swim-run event on Fiesta Island by the San Diego Track Club. Every year competitors from around the country and from around the world, come to Mission Bay to celebrate the birthplace triathlon. Read more.
