To more challenging uphill hikes that will bring sweat to the brow of even the fittest outdoor enthusiast.
• Peter’s Canyon in Orange has several hiking trails. From the 2.5 loop that everyone will love to the 5.7 loop that includes the challenging “Big Red” hill that makes for an epic hike!
• Crystal Cove State Park preserves 3.2 miles of coastline between Laguna Beach and Corona del Mar of back-country wilderness. You can explore the coastal canyons and ridges in the back-country.
• Black Star Falls Canyon Trail is a long hike at 13.2 miles and so worth it—at the end you’ll find tumbling cascade of water created by a combination natural rock formations and the remains of an old mine shaft.
