The Old OC Courthouse

The Old Orange County Courthouse is a wonderful place to take the family to experience a part of life from over 100 years ago, as well as to learn a bit of history about how Orange County, and the cities that fall within its borders, came to be.

The landmark Old Orange County Courthouse, which was dedicated in 1901, is Southern California’s oldest court building. It’s located in Santa Ana’s Historic Downtown District. The Romanesque Revival building is notable both for its interesting facade and its deep historic connection with events that shaped present-day Orange County.
