The Los Rios Historic District

The Los Rios Historic District is the oldest California neighborhood. A great example of neighborhood like at the turn of the century and before. There are about 40 homes which vary from 50-204 years old. The Montanez Adobe, the O’Neil Museum, the Ramon House Cafe, the Lobo House, the Rodman House, and the Lupe Combs House are businesses and are open to the public during the business houses. Most are private residents and can be the view from the street. The neighborhood used to be the home of the mission builders and workers on the mission ranch, for the economy was centered around the mission playing an important role in California history.
