Orange International Street Fair

Friday August 30th- September 1st

Founded in 1973 and Incorporated in 1985, Orange International Street Fair, Inc. was formed to produce the annual Orange International Street Fair (OISF) event held in Old Town Orange, CA. There will be plenty of arts and crafts, food booths and much more entertainment. Please visit the site for additional information about this event.

 

The Great Labor Day Cruise

August 31st-September 1st

The event continues to be one of the largest and longest running events in the nation and one of a few that can offer non-stop cruising around a 1.25 mile cruise route set up at the 150 acre venue. This event will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center between 8am and 5pm on Saturday August 31st and September 1st. General admission is $12 and for two days it cost $20. Knott’s Berry Farm Firework Show

September 1st

Labor Day was created in the late 1800s to honor the contributions of American workers to our nation’s prosperity, so let’s kick up our heels and celebrate! Our Labor Day events come a day early on Sunday, September 1, so mark your calendar and come on over for family-friendly fun and lifelong memories. The firework show will begin around 9:30pm. Sounds of Summer Play

“We’ve Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered” is the definitive concert show celebrating the music of one of the most successful recording acts of all time. The Carpenters sold over a hundred million records in just over a decade and still hold the record for most consecutive top-ten singles. CARPENTERS: REMEMBERED will perform Wednesday, August 28; Thursday, August 29 & Friday, August 30 at 7:30pm; Saturday, August 31 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm and Sunday, September 1 at 1:00pm 

Long Beach Greek Festival

Rock Labor Day

September 2nd-September 3rd

 

The course is run along the scenic city streets around a lake and a beautiful oceanfront view. Fully stocked aid station at the start area, with Gatorade, water, bananas, chips, cookies, and more. Beautiful 4” medal to all finishers. Event details and schedule 5:30 AM – MARATHON / ⅔ / EARLY START 7:00 AM – HALF / 15K / 10K / 5K START Runners doing either the full or ⅔ marathon must start at 5:30. All other racers have the option to start at either 5:30 or 7:00. Marathon & Half course is a 4.37 out and back loop where you will pass the aid station at miles 3.1 and 4.37.
