Literacy is such an integral part of a child’s academic success and Pretend City is here to support your child’s love for reading as we read across the city. Purpose Behind the Play: Developing reading concepts, appreciating books and reading. Practice with language development through story retelling, posing questions, and listening to read-a-louds.
