Casa Romantica’s second annual Summer Dance Workshop is a two-week academy for dancers aged 7-12 of all skill levels. Students learn multiple genres of dance including hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and ballet from local dance professionals.
In addition to technique classes, improvisation and choreography classes give dancers the opportunity to create their own movement.
The workshop will conclude with a free informal recital on the final day for friends and family, and student participation is required. Previous dance experience is not required. Admissions are based on video submission and merit. Accepted applicants will need to provide their own dance attire and adhere to an approved dress code.
Space is extremely limited for the Summer Dance Workshop and is subject to fill quickly.
