<\/span>Brought my 5 year old daughter out to San Diego and out of everything we did (Zoo, SeaWorld, Sesame Place, Belmont Park, Zoo, and the Beach) she said this was her favorite park. Kyle was the one leading the way on this tour and was great! Very detailed instructions and boat is easy to control even if it's your first time. Pay a little extra for the go pro video it has great quality and worth it. Will definitely do this again, Thank you guys for this experience.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>What a great way to see the bay! The staff is super friendly which makes the whole process easy. Instructions are clear, and very important to listen to for your own safety because these boats are fast! Bring sunglasses because the wind in your face at full throttle is intense. The boats have planning hulls and once they are up you skin the tops of the waves at 30mph. The only draw back is that you can only go as fast as the person in front of you while on the guided tour. All in all this was one of the best events of my week long visit to San Diego, I strongly recommend trying it out.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>When we booked the speed boat tour, we had no idea we would actually be driving the boat! I was so scared and nervous to go through with it, but my friend convinced me we could do it. We showed up and met our guide Kyle and the other people who booked the tour. Kyle was pleasant and knowledgeable. He went over the rules with us thoroughly and answered all of our questions. He was patient and made sure we all felt safe before and during the trip. We had a blast driving the boat, and we can\u2019t wait to do it again!! One of the best parts of our trip. <\/span>Was a fun experience to see the bay, and our tour guide was a great guy. I was having doubts about booking the tour because I\u2019m a large guy (6\u20197\u201d 250lbs) but had no problem fitting in the boats and it was pretty comfortable. My girlfriend was nervous to drive a boat for the first time but with our guide he made sure she was safe and comfortable operating the vessel. We got to see some seals and other wildlife on the tour as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Diego for the first time<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The people at the desk were very nice and knowledgeable. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because the car we were put in was very loud and uncomfortable but what do you expect right?<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>This was a surprise gift to my husband on our honeymoon and it was perfect! Our guide drew was so funny and knowledgeable of the sights. He maintained a great personality with it all, there was a small issue with one of the boats on the tour but he was a pro and took care of it perfectly and we all still had a blast! <\/span>The speed boat tour was fun. The reason I am only giving it 2 stars is because we purchased the upgraded HP package but that did not give us anything better. We had a faster boat but that didn't not allow us to go any faster than the slower boat in front of us. In fact, we spent a lot of time having to slow down so we wouldn't hit the boat in front of us. It just wasn't worth the money .<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>We own a boat and have access to lakes, rivers and the Gulf of Mexico, so to give this review, you'll have some context. I'm a mom and brought my teenage son and daughter. I felt safe and protected. Everything was explained very well. With that said, they didn't micromanage the fun out of the experience. We had a great time cruising the bay, seeing the wildlife up close, and getting that close on the water to a real battleship! This is well worth your time and money. He helped talked me through everything we needed to do. He was very knowledgeable and made it fun. Would definitely recommend going! <\/span>My wife and I came here to celebrate our 10th anniversary! Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The boat was well maintained and the tour guide was awesome! It was a fun little scenic tour around the Bay. You did get the opportunity to go fast on occasion but were required to match the speed of the boat in front of you, that was probably the only downside. For the most part, we had a blast! The next time we are in San Diego we will for sure do this again. My consumer rating A+<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>No complaints whatsoever. My second time booking this fun experience. The boats can have issues at times, but those issues can easily be resolved. There's just something about getting out and so close to the water while yet still staying dry! And once those little boats get up to speed.... whoosh; \"Whatta rush\"!!!

We Loved it! And this just another pertinent reminder of why SD IS SD!

<\/span>We booked a last minute speedboat adventure in San Diego & had to pay for the upgraded boat since all the others were rented. Let me tell you absolutely worth it!! Our boat was the fastest (said 50hp & others were 30hp) and our tour guide Captain Dave was a pleasure to lead us all through the bay. Unfortunately our radio was not hooked up properly so we missed the 1st 30 minutes of tour details & him describing what we were seeing - but we sped up next to him & he fixed it right away for us out on the water. And just so happens I met the owner Chris through a friend and he comped our goPro & gave us both free t-shirts! If you like being on the water & seeing all the sites from a different view (plus fooling around on a speed boat in open water) I would 100% book this tour! It lasted about 2 hours & I have phenomenal pictures of the San Diego downtown skyline & all the amazing places we saw. Keep up the great work guys & thanks again Chris for hooking us up!<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Just so you know before you go, ITS A TOUR ! You don\u2019t go by yourself and if you get pretty slow people in your group don\u2019t expect to go fast or anything. <\/span>I planned this for my boyfriend's birthday and it was an amazing adventure. The boat is simple to drive and the instructor\/tour guide will go over everything u need to know. It was the best way to spend our day and see the Harbor in a different way. Our tour guide was very friendly and professional. Bring some cash for tip later to show them you appreciate them.

<\/span>It was great to get out on the water and visit the points of interest with a knowledgeable guide. I was worried that this would feel like a nose-to-tail horseback trail ride. NOT-AT-ALL. So you follow in the wake of the guide. It makes no difference except to give you the confidence that you are going in the right direction. Then, when you hit a point of interest, BAM...you get all the info you need. Reminds me of a cycle tour of other cities. Very informative and out there, active participation.
