This Monday 01/15/18 attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration at California African American Museum. The event has family art activities beginning at 10 a.m. plus readings of Dr. King’s speeches beginning at 1 p.m. Registration is optional. Admission is Free.

Calibash – Latin Urban Music Festival

Starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Staples Center.

This Saturday 01/20/18 The 11th annual mega concert Calibash returns to the Staples Center. The largest Latin concert in LA, Calibash celebrates the best in hip-hop, urban, tropical, pop and R&B with some of the industry’s top performers and recording artists.

Previous showstoppers include Chris Brown, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber and Pitbull. This year’s star-studded lineup promises to continue a tradition of bringing down the house, combining a bevy of veteran entertainers and freshmen heavy hitters.

The 2018 Calibash lineup includes: J Balvin, Jennifer Lopez, Wisin y Yandel, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Becky G, Natti Natasha and French Montana.

 

Melrose Trading Post
