This Month join in on the fun at The 2018 Renaissance Pleasure Faire’s 56th anniversary season! The Faire is Open Saturday’s & Sundays Starting April and extends until May 20th.

Watch knights joust on horseback, mingle with costumed minstrels and troubadours, shop for art and food, and enjoy kids’ games and activities at The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire at Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area. Children 12 and younger free.


The Museum Of Selfies

Starts at 12:00 p.m. at 211 N Brand Boulevard in Glendale

This Month through May 31st join the fun at The Museum of Selfies, an interactive museum that explores the history and cultural phenomenon of the selfie – an image of oneself taken by oneself – with roots dating back 40,000 years.

Visitors can explore the origin of the selfie through the lens of art, history, technology, and culture while taking some cool selfies of their very own with our interactive installations.

The Museum of Selfies promises to share the unseen depths and history of this cultural phenomenon. Whether you love them or hate them, you won’t see selfies the same way again. Event ends May 31st at 8 p.m.

This Saturday 04/21/18 marks the 8th edition of BROKE LA, which has steadily grown from a modest 250-person show to a 6,000 person multi-vertical festival. LA’s premiere discovery destination from music, comedy, & visual art, to food, makers, and wares, the event attracts thousands of Angelenos annually. Event ends on Sunday 04/22/18.

Starts at 11:00 a.m. at 350 S. McPherrin Ave in Monterey Park


This Weekend 04/21/18 – 04/22/18 take the time to see, hear, and taste a bit of the Japanese and Japanese American culture through a first-hand experience of watching traditional Japanese dancing, hearing the resounding beats of the taiko drums, observing the mastery and various skills of martial arts, participating in the ancient art of the tea ceremony, or buying hand-made crafts or food with an Asian flair. Other highlights of the festival include games and crafts for children, and numerous cultural displays. Event ends on Sunday 04/22/18 at 6 p.m.

This Weekend 04/21/18 – 04/22/18 The Scandinavian Festival will be filled with music, dancing, food, lectures, demonstration, vendors and activities for young and old alike on both days. The Viking Encampment and Sami Village will once again be present. Event ends on Sunday 04/22/18 at 5 p.m.
