Art Glass Guild Fall Show and Patio Sale
When: Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm
Location: Spanish Village Art Center, 1770 Village Place
How much: Free admission
This is the largest art glass show in Southern California! All forms of Art Glass, including blown, fused, torch worked, stained glass, cast, etched, and mosaic will be featured. Over 30 juried glass artists of the Art Glass Association of Southern California will be exhibiting their art.This show/sale will highlight various demonstrations including torchworking and glass cutting. Tequila, Tacos, and Tombstones Old Town Tour

As one of the nation’s most haunted neighborhoods, the ghost stories of So Diego’s Tequila, Tacos and Tombstones Tour will have you looking over your shoulder for spirits that linger in the town. Visit the oldest cemetery in San Diego, and meet some of the notorious people who still haunt the streets of the eerie neighborhood at night. Walk by America’s most haunted house: the Whaley House, and end up at the most luxurious and historic hotel in Old Town.

Arts and Culture Fest

The diverse cultures of southeastern San Diego will be celebrated in numerous entertaining and interesting ways during this festival of music, dance, food, arts, crafts and more. Now in its sixth year, the Arts & Culture Fest features three stages and acres of activity. Hands-on yarn weaving and African American-style quilting will be presented by the San Diego Museum of Art and Mingei International Museum. Other hands-on workshops include drum making, West African dance lessons, and learning how to grow your own food with The People’s Produce Project.
Haunted Tales of the Ship Tour
When: 6-10pm
Location: San Diego Maritime Museum, 1492 North Harbor Dr.

It is time again for all aspiring ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses to gather on the Star of India for some ghostly tales of enormous proportions. Enjoy lantern led tours around the ship and hear eerie legends from the Star of India’s past. Creepy treats will be given to all who dare attend and kids are encouraged to wear costumes. Tours last 45 minutes and are included with San Diego Maritime Museum admission. More…
Walk on the Wild Side

Location: San Diego Zoo

The 6th annual Walk on the Wild Side, presented by the San Diego Zoo, is a 1.5 to 2.5 mile course through the zoo that raises money for koalas! Prizes are awarded for team name, team size, and top fundraisers. After the walk, enjoy live music, animal shows, and pick up a goodie bag at Camp Timbuktu in the zoo.

Fall Concerts at Coronado Ferry Landing

Location: Coronado Ferry Landing, 1201 First Street

Head over to the Coronado Ferry Landing for some great live music. Stiletto’s will perform swing, roots and some of the best tunes from the 50’s and 60’s, as well as contemporary rockabilly and swing. After the concert, browse the shops or grab some food from one of the great nearby restaurants.
