Veterans Cruise Free on Hornblower and Flagship

Military Veterans cruise for free on a one or two-hour Hornblower and Flagship cruises when they show valid military ID.
San Diego Veterans Day Parade
When: 11am
Location: Pacific Highway, Cedar Street to Harbor Drive

This year’s Veterans Day Parade commemorates the 20th anniversary of Desert Shield/Desert Storm and the grand marshal is Lieutenant General Thomas D. Waldhauser Commanding General, I Marine Expeditionary Force and Commander, U. S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command. The Parade route begins at the County Administration building at Cedar and Pacific Highway and runs along Pacific Highway south to Harbor Drive.
Café Sevilla Dinner Show

Every Friday night, Cafe Sevilla in the Gaslamp Quarter offers an evening to remember. San Diego Potters Guild Semi-Annual Sale

The San Diego Potters’ Guild is holding their semi-annual sale at the courtyard of The Spanish Village. Each potter brings in a load of new work from their home studios and displays it in the courtyard. It is a unique opportunity to speak to almost all of the potters and ask them questions about their work.
America’s Cup World Series: Port Cities Challenge
When: 1-4pm
Location: San Diego Harbor

America’s Cup is the world’s most prestigious sailing race, taking place in San Diego this year. The Port Cities Challenge is a preliminary series consisting of three fleet races each day. Racing is scheduled to start with a warning signal at 1305, local time. The first race each day will be 40 minutes, the second and third will be 18 minutes. The Port Cities Challenge Trophy will be awarded at the conclusion of Sunday’s racing at the winning Teams’ Base Camp.
Bromeliad Bash

Location: San Diego Botanic Garden

Enjoy presentations, demonstrations, educational displays, plant sales, and book sales all weekend long at the San Diego Botanic Garden. This special exhibition showcases 37 original 19th century botanical color illustrations of bromeliads from the collection of Jack Kramer, prolific author and collector. These one-of-a-kind original works come with documented sources—they are rare in the trade and are for sale.

Orfila Concert in the Vines

Come to Orfila Vineyards this Sunday for a live performance by Ablaze! This adult contemporary band combines acoustic guitar, drum, bass, and saxophone to produce a sound that is catchy, classy, and oh so chill. SD Street Eats Food Truck will be on site during the show, serving up great food from around the globe. Tickets include a glass of wine.
