Located in beautiful Balboa Park, Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater is a 200 seat, indoor theater that entertains people of all ages. From pre-school age shows to adult shows, there is something for everyone.

The first public performance at the theater was a marionette show given by Marie Hitchcock and her sister, Genevieve Engman, in 1947.
