Social Cycle

The Social Cycle, a first-of-its-kind “party on wheels” and brand-new to the West Coast, is a 16-passenger, Dutch-style bicycle that is pedal-powered by its riders (that’s YOU!)

Essentially a 16-person bicycle, the Social Cycle is rented by private parties on an hourly basis, and requires a two-hour minimum to rent. It’s a great activity for birthday parties, bachelor parties, or outings with friends!

Each bike requires a minimum of 6 passengers to pedal — although you’ll be getting quite the workout! We recommend at least 8-10 passengers per tour. A Social Cycle Captain is included in the rental fee. Passengers must be at least 21 years old to ride.

Ideal for get-togethers of all kinds, this unique group rental bicycle is a festive, refreshing, eco-friendly alternative to the typical party bus — encouraging socializing and having fun with friends (even making some new ones!), all while safely enjoying our fresh California air, local sights and light exercise outdoors.

Based in Downtown San Diego with two eye-catching bikes in operation, the Social Cycle is currently hosting lively tours throughout the downtown area — including the popular Gaslamp Quarter, East Village, Marina District/Seaport Village and Little Italy — with custom rides available. Plans are also underway to expand tours to other neighborhoods throughout San Diego.
