Beautiful Balboa Park

Balboa Park, located in the heart of downtown San Diego, is the nation’s largest cultural park, attracting more than 500,000 visitors annually.  Home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the San Diego Zoo, the Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts, and classes—all in the beautiful and timeless setting of this must-see San Diego attraction.  Be sure to hop on the Balboa Park Miniature Railroad that rumbles over four acres of the park, as well as the 1910 Balboa Park Carousel, one of the few in the world that still offers the brass ring game for everyone on the 5-minute ride.  There’s no need to leave the park if all the walking around makes you hungry.  From snack carts and casual cafes to more upscale dining, you’ll be able to grab a bite conveniently located wherever you are!   (619) 239-0512. www.balboapark.org.
