Roquefort Lamb Chops
This Roquefort Lamb Chops is surely going to make you popular amongst your friends once you treat them to it. Serve with your favorite Zinfindel!
Ingredients:
1/4 pound of Roquefort cheese.
1 – 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire.
1/8 teaspoon of Pepper.
8 Lamb rib chops, each cut about 2-inches thick.
1 can of 10.75 ounce condensed beef consommé, undiluted.
Preparation Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Stir and mash Roquefort, salt, Worcestershire and pepper until mixed into a smooth paste.
Trim chops, leaving thin layer of fat; Spread the Roquefort mixture evenly over the fat side of the chops.
Set chops on bones in 12″ by 8″ baking dish; add consommé.
Bake 50 minutes or until of desired doneness, while basting.
Suggested side dish;
Sautéed asparagus, orzo rice pilaf.
