Take Me Out To The Ballgame

THE PADRE’S- The San Diego Padre’s Major League Baseball team was founded in 1969, and they have won the National League Pennant twice. They are one of two baseball teams that originated in California, the other being the Los Angeles Angels. Not to be confused with the famous chicken that appears at a majority of their games, but the Swinging Friar is actually their current mascot. The Padre’s home field is at PetCo Park, which is located in downtown near San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Go get yourself some peanuts and crackerjacks, and have fun watching San Diego’s baseball team play ball!
