Explore Little Italy!
San Diego is one of the best examples of America’s famed “melting pot” that you’ll find anywhere in the States, with the ideal blend of people, cultures, ideas and opinions found here. San Diego’s historic Little Italy pays homage to the group of Italian families who once made their living on the sea. Now, 100 years later, the waterfront area they called home is a quaint neighborhood filled with patio cafés, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, and shops. A stroll along India Street will lead you to restaurants featuring delicious cuisines of both Southern and Northern Italy, including Caffe, Indigo Grill, and Filippi’s Pizza Grotto.
Little Italy also has some great local boutiques worth a stop including The Shopaholics Boutique, Rosa Mariposa, Vocabulary Boutique and Melero Boutique & Gallery.
