Your ultimate guide for Things To Do in San Diego!

Little Italy San Diego

Historically, Little Italy served as home to Italian fishermen and their families. Many Italians relocated to San Diego from San Francisco after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake in search of tuna and other deep-sea sport as well as commercial fishing. Today, you will still find authentic Italian culture in Little Italy. Located in the northwest area of downtown San Diego, the Little Italy street sign, which spans across India Street between Date and Fir, welcomes visitors to this picturesque neighborhood. A fairly easy walk of over 48 square blocks, stroll through this delightful neighborhood and enjoy delicious Italian cuisine, coffee shops with a European aura, and streets lined with boutiques and art galleries. Held every other month is Kettner Nights, a progressive evening event featuring art and design exhibitions in the Kettner Art & Design District. Public Transit bus route 83/ Blue Trolley Line M-F only
