Enjoy a Day on a Lake in San Diego

Spend the day at the lake, basking in the sun and catching up with old friends.  At the seven Santee Lakes, there are so many activities to partake in.  Santee Lakes have been voted the number one fishing hole in San Diego, and for good reason.  The lakes are stocked with Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Catfish and Bluegill no fishing license required!

The park also offers rentals for pedal boats, kayaks, row boats and canoes.  After your boating adventure, throw on your running shoes for a quick jog around the lake on one of the many paths that surround it.

After a day full of adventure and activity, pitch your tent right by the lake!  Santee lakes has 300 full hook-up campsites, which are nestled in the foothills, just 20 minutes from San Diego’s big attractions.  This is not your average campsite – their amenities include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, general store, internet access, laundry and playgrounds.
