Attend A Free Concert

Free music concerts abound in San Diego throughout spring and summer.  From Coronado, Seaport Village, and Balboa Park to Mission Bay, La Jolla and Del Mar, you can find live musicians playing music for locals and visitors alike. 

Bring some snacks and spread out a beach blanket to listen to the sounds of jazz, pop, classical, country, and more.  Concerts take place at mid-day, during the afternoon, or in the early evening.  No matter which session you choose to attend, you are likely to find an audience of mixed ages, with toddlers bopping alongside teenagers, and seniors taking a spin on any semblance of a dance floor.
