There are endless possibilities in the city of San Diego, and we want to make sure you get the most out of your experience. This is why we have created itineraries for you and your family to follow.  That way you don’t have to worry about a thing! We have it all mapped out for you. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of San Diego and all it has to offer.

Ready to see the best of San Diego on land and in the water…? Then take your seat on the San Diego Seal Tour—an adventure that tours you through the most interesting sights in the city, then heads straight into the big bay without missing a beat. Your adventure begins on land, as you pass numerous landmarks including Seaport Village, the USS Midway, and Star of India. The Seal Tour then takes a fascinating turn and drives straight into the San Diego Bay for the second half of your adventure! Glide past pelicans, seals, and dolphins in this unique amphibious vehicle. Cruise by Point Loma and Shelter Island before returning to land.

It’s probably a bit surprising having your tour bus drive straight into the water, so let’s stay on the land for a bit. Spend the afternoon hiking! San Diego offers several fun hikes for every skill level. For an easy and very scenic hike, go to Torrey Pines State Reserve. Walk along the coastal bluffs on 1-2 miles trails. For a slightly more challenging hike, venture to Cowles Mountain in El Cajon. Come early because this trail is pretty popular! This is a short hike, but you definitely get a workout climbing up the side of this mountain! Finally, for a challenging hike, try Mount Woodson in Poway. Here, the trail greets hikers with a gently sloping, unpaved path, but it soon steepens and rarely shows mercy for the rest of the trek. However, from the top the views have been known to allow hikers to look over downtown, the Pacific Ocean and Mexico.

I bet you’re hungry after all that hiking, so time to fuel up at Kansas City BBQ. Located in the harbor district of San Diego, the restaurant is known for being the filming location for scenes used in the film Top Gun. Visit the bar and take home a “Top Gun” tank top, t-shirt, or hat. Their menu boasts a variety of great sandwiches, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and more! Even though you’re sitting in your booth, you’ll feel like you’re in a scene of the movie!
