Encinitas—is a six-mile coastal beach city located in the north county of San Diego, California. Encinitas is 19.4 square miles and is characterized by coastal beaches, cliffs, flat-topped coastal areas, steep mesa bluffs and rolling hills. The city was incorporated on October 1, 1986, drawing together the communities of New Encinitas, Old Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Olivenhain and Leucadia.

75.Cabrillo National Monument
A visit to Cabrillo National Monument offers tremendous views of the San Diego region and excellent opportunities to explore the natural and cultural history of the area. Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo departed from the port of Navidad, Mexico on June 27, 1542.
76. CA Surf Museum
In February 1986, architect and surfer Stuart Resor appeared in a local newspaper article inviting interested people to found a museum to honor the history of surfing.
