Seal Beach
Seal Beach is a great family-friendly Orange County beach town. Sitting on the coast as the gateway to Orange County between the cities of Long Beach and Huntington Beach, Seal Beach has the second longest wooden pier in California. There are many places to go and things to see here, and you’ll find it to be a great vacation destination for shopping, dining or maybe fishing on the pier.
The Seal Beach jetty is one of the most popular fishing locations in Orange County. The jetty’s configuration of huge rocks create a fair amount of sea spray so caution is advised, especially for children. Seal Beach also houses a 920-acre national wildlife refuge which encompasses 2/3 of the land within the city.
