Knott’s Soak City Opening Day
Splash Into Summer!
Opening Day May 18, 2013
Knott’s Soak City is OC’s wildest water adventure park, featuring 13 water-logged acres packed with outrageous water rides and attractions.
Whether you’re an old sea dog or just getting your feet wet, Soak City offers 21 water rides and attractions that are themed after the surf woodies and longboards of the 1950s Southern California coast and offer rides for the whole family! Ranging from tame to thrilling, there is something for everyone.
Guests looking for thrills will find the most extreme slides on Old Man Falls tower. Here three body slides named Pipeline, Point Break and Riptide offer single riders a high-speed 62-foot descent in two open and one enclosed flumes.
When it’s time to cool off and catch some waves, guests can experience the Tidal Wave Bay. This massive wave pool generates crashing waves that you can body surf on or just float around. You can also relax by taking a cruise down the Sunset River, a gentle flowing 1,700-foot long lazy river ride.
Knott’s is a perfect place for a family getaway, offering the Toyota Beach House play area for kids to enjoy water guns, nozzles and sprayers, and two novice open flume water slides to ride! Young children are also welcome to splash around in the Gremmie Lagoon kiddie park.
Knott’s Soak City Orange County has two sister water parks, one in Palm Springs and another in San Diego and is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment.
